WHAT IS THE PRINCE GEORGE METIS ELDERS SOCIETY?
The Prince George Métis Elders Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life for our Elders, as well as educating our community on what it means to be Métis.
WHAT WE DO: We raise awareness of Métis culture through community involvement such as presentations in schools. Hold gatherings for social events, holiday dinners, picnics and other outdoor activities such as berry picking. We also organize bi-weekly Potlucks, weekly craft days and celebrate a monthly Family Fun Nights. »
