Background, Mission and Values

Lo Porter Hétu is a Calgary-based member firm of the professional services group of Porter Hétu International. Porter Hetu is one of the top 20 accounting firms in Canada with partners in most areas of the country and abroad. Lo Porter Hétu?s partners include Tenny Lo, Betty Thompson, and Rick Black. When Betty joined Tenny in 1996, she had a strong not-for-profit and accounting background. She brought her experience as a not-for-profit accountant, volunteer, board director, and trainer to the firm. Rick Black joined Betty and Tenny in 2003 and also has a focus on providing services to the public and not-for-profit sectors. Through the use of technology, our service delivery has gradually expanded beyond Calgary to other parts of Alberta and western Canada.

Today, Lo Porter Hétu has a dynamic group of CGA?s with combined experience of over forty years helping organizations and individuals achieve their objectives. Our group of highly qualified experienced CGA?s provide a full range of accounting services to small and medium-sized businesses across Canada, in China and Hong Kong.
