Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) is Canada's premier school for Registered Massage Therapy training. It is the only college in metro vancouver that offers a part-time program in massage therapy training. Our teaching practice is based on three pillars: practical, academic, and professional training. We provide our students a strong academic foundation in class, from our passionate and experienced teaching staff, as well as practical hands-on training, which will be translated into practice when our students work in our public clinic and at various outreaches. Above all, we focus on developing our students into successful healthcare professionals, who are well rounded and possess all knowledge and expertise relevant to the massage therapy profession. In addition to our full and part time academic training programs, we also offer a public massage therapy clinic in downtown Vancouver, with 15 private massage treatment rooms and an in-reach room to accommodate teams or groups. At the clinic, our students work with supervising instructors, who are themselves professional registered massage therapists, to provide massage services, combining traditional Swedish and modern massage therapy techniques with other therapies.
