The Scratching Post is a small, home-based animal care business located on the Hamilton Mountain. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, caring, kennel free space for animals to stay.
Cat Sitting
Cats stay in their own, private basement apartment with a comfy couch to sleep on and access to a screened door for fresh air and outdoor entertainment. Plenty of climbing opportunities and a variety of scratch posts are provided.
You supply food and litter
Short Term (21 days or less): $10/day +$5/day for additional cats
Long Term (22+ days): $50/week + $25/week for additional cats
In-Home Visits
For convenience I can come and look after your cat or small animal in your home. This is perfect for those shorter vacations and allows your animal to remain in the comfort of his/her own home.
Includes: Fresh food and water, scooping litter box and a 15-30 min. visit
