The Funky Monkey Baby Boutique is the brainchild of a little family that lived in London, Ontario...
Mom and Dad welcomed their little funky monkey to the world in March, 2004, and thus the shopping frenzy began! After a number of months of shopping in the same places, seeing the same outfits over and over again at playgroups, they started to wonder where they could find unique and hip baby items in London. After a couple of trips to Toronto, Vancouver and the U.S., and after doing some shopping online, they realized there was a whole world of infant and toddler apparel, accessories, giftware, toys, nursery décor, crib bedding, diaper bags and other items for moms and dads that was not being explored in London.
Because Mom decided she wanted to stay home with her little monkey, and because Dad was tired of traveling for his job and being everywhere else but home, they put their heads together and thought really hard about what she loved (shopping!) and what he was good at (customer service!) and decided to embark on a new adventure with their funky monkey as the inspiration. Mom and Dad wanted to share their discoveries and provide other Moms and Dads with the opportunity to buy quality, stylish and unique baby and toddler products. Thus, The Funky Monkey Baby Boutique was born! And, in August 2006, their second funky monkey was born - another boy!
