Steven dedicates his entire legal practice to assisting injury victims and people who have been unfairly denied disability benefits. As part of the team of over 100 Ontario lawyers at Lerners LLP, he acts as an injury and disability lawyer for victims with motor vehicle accident lawsuits, accident benefits cases, disability benefit cases, slip and falls, and other injury cases. Focussing on one area of law allows him to stay on top of the legal developments and industry trends.
He has a unique perspective, from, in the past, also having acted for insurance company defendants and acting for defendants in professional malpractice cases. Steven started his practice in the firm’s London office in 2002, before joining the Toronto office, and is also regularly in the Durham area.
He has acted, and continues to act, as counsel in lawsuits in a number of different cities in Ontario, including Toronto, Ajax, Whitby, Mississauga, Scarborough, Oshawa, Newmarket, Thornhill, Markham, Brantford and beyond. He has also represented injury victims and insurance clients in the Court of Appeal (Ontario’s highest court).
Steven offers his injury and disability clients his respect, his calm and experienced guidance and his record for success in obtaining fair and just compensation for injuries and losses. He has represented clients with numerous conditions, including head injuries, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain disorders, TMJ, RSD, fractures, disc problems, whiplash associated disorders and a range of other physical and psychological impairments.
Steven provides free (no obligation) consultations to injured persons and provides flexible fee structures, including contingency fee arrangements.
