Since the opening of Promenade Mall in Vaughan on Bathurst St, the northern limit of Toronto City has changed. It has become more retail-driven and the demand for suburban properties and land has also declined. The mall’s traffic itself has been declining with the passage of time and the departure of Sears in 2017 has further impacted the growth of this region.
