Commissionaires - North Saskatchewan Division

The Commissionaires, North Saskatchewan Division (CNSD) is a strong not-for-profit organization that provides security services to Public and Private Organizations, Federal, Provincial, Municipal and Commercial clients throughout central and northern Saskatchewan.

Commissionaires North Saskatchewan Division began on July 15th, 1948 and is presently divided into five core business units: Static Guards, Mobile Patrol, Identification Services, Training and Guard Support to the RCMP. CNSD presently employs 500+ Commissionaires and another 400+ jail guards.

As part of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, CNSD is mandated to provide meaningful employment opportunities for former serving members of the Canadian Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and other qualified individuals of all ages, who wish to contribute to the security and well-being of Canadians.

Today Commissionaires employs over 20,000 men and women across Canada of all ages and from many walks of life. There are 17 independent Commissionaire divisions operating as a distinct business unit committed to the security of Canadians. Collectively they form Canada’s premier security services provider. Each Division has its own volunteer Board of Governors that are formed by a cross-section of senior military and RCMP members along with successful senior executives from the public and private sectors.
