As a licensed psychologist and member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec, I have worked in private practice in the Eastern Townships for over 20 years. I enjoy working with couples and individuals who are looking for help in their relationship with others, whether the other is their spouse, friend, parent, child or co-worker. When feelings of frustration, anxiety and depression make it increasingly difficult to work things out yourself, a different perspective and understanding of your situation, can offer new possibilities for change, personal growth and balance in your life.
I graduated with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands in 1982. In 2002 I successfully completed the post-graduate training program in Couple and Family Therapy at the Institute of Couple and Family Psychiatry of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.
The therapeutic approach of my choice is Family Systems Therapy. To be heard and to find acceptance (from self and others) is essential to healthy living. Being privileged to work so closely with others who are engaged in their own personal process, is a very meaningful and rewarding experience for me.
